How to Create a Request for Service
As a hiring manager, when you need to engage a consultant or kick off a new project, Flextribe makes it easy to create a Request for Service (RfS).
You can start a new RfS in two ways:
🔗 Via a direct link – typically shared by your internal Procurement or HR team
💻 From the Flextribe platform – Go to Request for Service in the sidebar and click + New Request for Service in the top-right corner
(See image below for reference)

Step-by-Step: Creating a Request for Service
When creating a new RfS, you’ll be guided through a clear, structured flow – custom-designed with your organization’s input.
🧩 Fill in Each Section Thoroughly
Each step helps ensure that the most relevant consultants and agencies receive your request. The more details you provide, the better the match.
💡 Helpful Tips for a Better Request
✍️ Provide a Clear and Detailed Description
When you reach the Description step, take the time to describe the assignment or project as clearly as possible. This will:
✅ Help consultancies quickly understand the full scope
✅ Reduce the number of follow-up questions
✅ Accelerate the matching and proposal process
📎 You can also upload any relevant files or documentation directly within the flow.

📅 Important: Set Your Internal Deadline
In the Dates step, you’ll be asked to provide your Internal Deadline – this is the cut-off for when consultancies can submit their proposals.
⏰ Once the deadline passes, you’ll be notified automatically by the platform. At this point, you can start evaluating the submitted candidates and proposals.

🚀 Final Step: Submit the Request
After reviewing the summary, confirm your request.
📩 Your Procurement team will be notified immediately and begin the review process.
What Happens Next?
Once your request is accepted by Procurement, your job is done! Based on the submission deadline, the platform takes care of the rest.
🧘♂️ While you focus on your other work, the platform tracks all progress.
🔍 You can still follow the status of your Request for Service at any time – even before the submission deadline has passed.
