External Proposals: Understanding the Different Stages
The External Proposals section in Flextribe helps you efficiently manage proposals received from Flextribe clients. To keep everything structured, we categorise proposals into four key stages:
📩 1. Inbox – Unanswered Proposals
Your Inbox contains all potential proposals that you have not yet responded to. These are opportunities where you still need to decide whether to:
✅ Show Interest – If the assignment is relevant and you have potential candidates.
❌ Deny Proposal – If the assignment is not suitable for your organisation.
📌 Important: Proposals will stay in the Inbox until you take action. Once you accept or decline, they move to the relevant next stage.

🚀 2. Proposals in Progress – Preparing Candidates
Once you have indicated "Yes, we have candidates for this assignment," the proposal moves to Proposals in Progress.
🔹 Here, you will find:
✅ All proposals you have shown interest in.
✅ Assignments where the deadline has not yet passed.
✅ A workspace to prepare and upload candidate profiles & necessary files.
📌 Proposals in Progress is where you actively manage and finalise candidate nominations before submission.

⏳ 3. Pending Proposals – Waiting for Client Feedback
Once you have:
✅ Submitted candidates for an assignment
✅ Ensured all files and details are complete
✅ Met the proposal deadline
The proposal will move to Pending Proposals. At this stage, you are waiting for the Flextribe client to review your candidates and respond.
📌 Pending Proposals keep everything structured, ensuring you know which assignments are awaiting feedback.

🔔 Real-Time Notifications on Status Changes
To keep you updated, Flextribe notifies you whenever a client takes action on your submitted candidates.
✅ Candidate viewed – The client has opened your candidate profile.
✅ Candidate shortlisted – Your candidate has moved forward in the selection process.
✅ Candidate rejected – The client has decided not to proceed with this candidate.
✅ Interview request – The client wants to schedule an interview with your candidate.
📌 This ensures you always know what’s happening with your submissions without needing to follow up manually.
